New Order of Fashion is an international platform empowering emerging fashion talents to drive the transition toward a sustainable and circular fashion industry.
My journey with New Order of Fashion began with their workshops during Dutch Design Week, which sparked a deeper interest in their mission, which aligned with my Vision [CA, US].
Wanting to get more involved, I joined the Repair Crew, gaining a hands-on, professional experience where I developed and applied key skills relevant for the textile sector such as sewing, pattern making, upcycling, and creative garment repair, often for real clients [TR, BE].
Currently, for a few hours every week, I am responsible for support task in the New Order Of Fashion LAB, whether it’s hosting workshops, or event planning [CA,BE].
This role not only improved my technical skills but also deepened my understanding of sustainable fashion practices, equipping me with knowledge about materials, tools and processing techniques that can be applied in my future projects [CA, TR].
